The specimens from the Mediterranean Sea were originally posted at these websites as
Melibe fimbriata  Alder & Hancock, 1864,
I changed it  into Melibe viridis  Kelaart, 1858, because of Bill Rumans Seaslug Forum,
then I realized that the Seaslug Forum had the Melibe from the Mediterranean Sea as
Melibe fimbriata  Alder & Hancock, 1864, so I changed the sites back again,
I checked on 11 October 2012  CLEMAM and realized that Gosliner & Smith,  2003
had formally synonymized  Melibe fimbriata with Melibe viridis
